About Me:
My name is JoJo, and I am delighted to be a part of the team here at Monkey Puzzle, Lightwater. I have over 15 years of experience, starting my childcare journey as a Nursery Assistant, then going on to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship. I quickly worked my way up to Toddler room co-leader and later Baby room leader where I gained a multitude of additional skills.
I am a strong advocate for Neurodiversity and after being diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Condition as an adult, I later took a break from nursery settings to work for a charity, mentoring children, and young adults with Autism, in music and the Performing Arts. After COVID 19 shut down the arts industry, I started back on my nursery journey working as a practitioner with a deep passion for supporting children with additional needs.
I am also a qualified Swimming Teacher, teaching children of all ages what I believe to be a basic life skill.
