At Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery and Preschool Lightwater, we’re delighted to be part of Little Dreamers, Big Futures — a summer-long campaign running across all Monkey Puzzle nurseries from mid-June through to the end of August 2025. This exciting initiative is designed to inspire our children to dream big, explore new ideas, and start thinking about the endless possibilities the future holds — all through engaging, play-based learning.

What is Little Dreamers, Big Futures?

This campaign is about more than just summer fun. It’s a celebration of imagination, ambition, and the important role early years education plays in helping children become confident, capable individuals.

Here at Monkey Puzzle Lightwater, we’re proud to support this by:

  • Encouraging children to explore their dreams and interests

  • Creating hands-on, inspiring learning experiences connected to real-world ideas

  • Building strong partnerships with families and the local community

  • Supporting parents and carers on their early years journey

  • Welcoming new families and dedicated professionals into our vibrant nursery community

What’s Happening at Lightwater?

We’ve created a joyful, career-themed summer packed with fun and meaningful activities, all designed to help our little learners discover who they are and who they might one day become. Some of the exciting plans include:

  • “When I Grow Up” Dress-Up Days – Children will get the chance to step into the shoes of doctors, vets, chefs, firefighters, and more

  • Guest Visits from Local Professionals – Engaging sessions with people from our local community, helping children learn about different jobs and life experiences

  • Dream Boards and Vision Walls – A creative way for children to express their hopes, goals, and interests through art and play

  • Mini Job Fairs – A fun, age-appropriate version of a job fair where children can explore different professions at themed stations

  • Future Job-Themed Activities – From building like engineers to cooking like chefs, children will explore a variety of exciting roles through imaginative play
